    Come on out for one of our first paddle on Caney River...

    Dam to Betty's Island float.

    this will be 8 miles,

    bring along water, snacks/lunch, dress accordingly, hats, sunscreen..water shoes etc.

    PFD's lifevest is mandatory

    Kayaks and all gear is available for a donation of $25, you can rent from outfitter for $40...LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED GEAR ON YOUR RSVP LET ME do not be a no-show if your rsvp for gear!!!

    BREAKFAST 8:45 am at Panera's or you can just meet us at Put In at Dam...

    Weather is not looking like it will cooperate. I don't mind a little rain....when it's 80 outside. But I am guessing that is not going to be the case. I will evaluate tomorrow before I bail.

    If my kayak arrives on Friday I will be coming if it isn't too cold. I am an Arizona desert rat after all.

    I paddled it weekend before last with two generators running and it was swift. I think I set a speed record from the Dam to Happy Hollow.
