Each December, the south lawn of
Woodmont Christian Church
is filled with sheep and hay.
Our southeastern courtyard is filled with goats and camels.
The wooden floor of our gymnasium finds itself covered in four inches of mulch.
A cast of hundreds put on costumes and full body makeup, and Woodmont’s lower floor converts completely to a representation of 1st century ancient Israel on the night of the birth of Jesus.
For one busy Sunday a year, Woodmont opens its doors to the Nashville community to share the story of Christ’s birth in a different and exciting way. To view photos from previous year's event, please visit the
Walk Thru Bethlehem grows annually, drawing crowds of thousands. This year, Walk Thru Bethlehem will take place on December 8, 2013 from 1pm-7pm.
