Walk Thru Bethelehem 2013

A slice of ancient Israel right here in Nashville...

Each December, the south lawn of

Woodmont Christian Church is filled with sheep and hay.
Our southeastern courtyard is filled with goats and camels.
The wooden floor of our gymnasium finds itself covered in four inches of mulch.

A cast of hundreds put on costumes and full body makeup, and Woodmont’s lower floor converts completely to a representation of 1st century ancient Israel on the night of the birth of Jesus.

For one busy Sunday a year, Woodmont opens its doors to the Nashville community to share the story of Christ’s birth in a different and exciting way.  To view photos from previous year's event, please visit the

Photos page.

Walk Thru Bethlehem grows annually, drawing crowds of thousands.  This year, Walk Thru Bethlehem will take place on December 8, 2013 from 1pm-7pm.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
