Upper Buffalo River section I

Join us for a kayak trip down the upper Buffalo River. Our put in will be at Metal Ford on the Natchez Trace Parkway and we'll go downriver about 9 river miles to the Texas Bottom Bridge on Sickler Road.
This is a beautiful and remote section of the river that is little traveled by fellow kayakers or canoers. . Also, 9 or 10 ft boats would be best for as there are several places which require tight turns.
Our put in is at an old ford along the original Natchez Trace.

BREAKFAST AT LOVELESS 8:00 AM...let me know on your rsvp so i can get an accurate seating for our group...

SHELL GAS STATION AT 9:00 AM TO CARPOOL...down to Natchez Trace for our Put In...once we arrive please unload all gear and assist others and all drivers are to follow me to our TAKE OUT at Sickler Rd...

If you need kayak let me know on your rsvp...a donation is appreciated of $25...

BRING YOUR LUNCH SNACKS AND ALL SAFETY GEAR

Again, This trip is not beginner friendly unless you know how to handle your kayak!!!  there are a few tight/sharp turns and safety is our UTMOST PRIORITY ;~))

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
