Welcome!

Are you a loving foster parent? Do you have foster children who have a hard time fitting in because they dont think anyone else would understand their situation? Do you sometimes just feel unappreciated for all you do? Have you adopted a foster child? This meetup is for foster parents, and their foster/preadoptive/ and or adopted children to come out and have some fun for a change, and not worry for a few hours about the stress of being involved in the foster care system. Infants to teenagers, all are welcome! This group is also going to be a support group for the foster parents who need some time away from the children to relax and unwind, and socialize with other parents that understand the joys as well as the lows of being a foster mom or a foster dad. Events will occur throughout New Jersey, not just northern or central new jersey. As the group begins to build and friendships blossom, we will have play dates at members home.
