Charity Dodgeball Pick-up game!

This is a charity Dodgeball event for Second Harvest Food Bank. We will be playing in a pickup game style with randomly selected teams. We will play for about two hours. Must be 18 or older to play!

It is $5 minimum donation to play! About $1 per person of the donation will go towards the gym rental cost. ALL other proceeds will be donated to Second Harvest Food Bank! We ask that you bring the initial $5 donation in cash for purposes of gym rental fees. To make y'all feel a little more cozy, any excess donation can be put into a check and written out to Second Harvest Food Bank of New Orleans.

Optionally, please also bring food donations. Maybe you have a couple things in your kitchen that you realize you'll never eat! Non-parishable foods only!

AFTER THE EVENT we will go a few blocks up to Fat Harry's on St. Charles, where Harry has agreed to give us some bar specials!!

$6 wings!

$5 domestic pitchers!

Finally, there will be TWO FREE SEASONS handed out at this event for our summer league! One will be given to the person that makes the largest monetary donation to Second Harvest Food Bank. The other will be given away in a manner yet to be determined, but probably by raffle at the bar!

Don't forget that the event is located at Elevate Next, which is INSIDE St. Stephens Elementary. Out front of the school there should be a sign that says Elevate Next. Go around the right side of the school and you'll find a door to go in. Then go up the stairs to your left. Gym is upstairs.

Apologies go out for any inconvenience for changing the date, and for having to repost the event (since we are unable to edit in this group). We hope all can still make it. It's for a really good cause.

We now have the option of holding the event on Sunday, April 13th. Would you rather we hold the event on that day or maintain it for April 20th? Keep in mind that April 13th is French Quarter Fest, while April 20th would be Easter night.

Yes. I'm actually talking with some people, and we're planning on doing a charity dodgeball event. Probably just do it in the style of a pickup game. Cash and food donations would be welcome. I'm working on getting it to be an officially registered drive and then I'll work on getting a bar afterwards to host us and give us food/drink deals.

If anybody else has any ideas about this, such as a good bar, or anything else, let me know!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
