And, I'm not concerned about my safety walking to the meetup point, but will we be able to escort each other back to our vehicles after it's over? It's not a good idea to walk in the Quarter alone after dark...

If you don't find on street parking, Central Parking by Rampart is $10 for like 10 hours. There's a number of Central Parking lots.

Hey, I don't want to put myself on the waitlist until I'm sure if I can make it, but is there a rain plan?

    July 28

    • Brian

I have just received word from the person that they have had to only cancel three times due to rain before and two of the three it never did end up raining. From my own experience when it comes to the French Quarter on Friday nights, I have not found it to rain very often and depending on where you go there are a lot of rain coverings with all the balconies there.

So am I now officially a 'yes?'

    July 28

    • Brian

      yes you are :)

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE if you are not going any longer or if you cant make it please RSVP. I am usually fairly forgiving and just aggravated if someone doesnt show up to the events, but with a limited number of spots I am much less forgiving. So please update your status as soon as possible if something should happen. Thank you.

I have been told by our lovely host that we can increase the number of spaces and have done so.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
