Elisabeth works with universities, museums, foundations, cultural institutions, documentary film makers, individuals & businesses to create life history interviews on audio, video and in print. She also designs and manages oral history research projects, conducts historic research for private and public oral history projects (in English, German, Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Dutch) and trains/coaches fellow oral historians and interviewers. Elisabeth likes to listen to personal stories of migration, ethnicity and identity, explores post-war and post-genocide memories from around the world and aims for the empowerment of individuals whose voices tend to be left out of mainstream narratives.
Elisabeth is an independent oral historian based in New York City and in Vienna, Austria.
