So many...including Stumptown, Heart and Public Domain (from my native Oregon), La Colombe, Counter Culture, PTs and Intellegentsia to name a few. Currently in the kitchen: Fika's signature espresso and Irving Farm's El Salavadorian Cerro Las Ranas coffee.
If you asked me this question in 2009, I would have said Stumptown at the ACE. In 2010 that answer would have been Kaffe 1668 in Tribeca. Today, it is a toss up between Culture Espresso (with a roaster of excellently selected coffees + espresso and consistently amazing baristas) in Manhattan or Glass Shop (La Colombe) or Milk Bar (Counter Culture) in my neighborhood of Crown Heights, Brooklyn.
Hi, I'm a coffee fiend (and by coffee I usually mean a 4.5oz cortado, no sugar added) but I do enjoy coffee cuppings and LOVE learning more about my caffeine crutch.
