I am very interested in how FPGAs can be used to essentially act as a network appliance for real time financial knowledge beyond trading, such as risk and p&l systems.
I dont currently, but that's because I dont know enough about them
software engineering undergrad, MBA in entrepreneurial management. I run the technology and architecture practice at OmniVista Solutions.
What are they NOT good at? What are the requirements for building out and deploying a custom solution?
I'm a software engineer with a business orientation, my firm does consulting at some of the largest hedge funds on the street.
