I have to be honest with you, I’m not the best networker. It requires an extraordinary amount of time and skill that I seem to never really have. I do, however, have a keen interest in a group where business owners can share their ideas, their triumphs, and failures if they like, so that others can learn and advise.

Most networking groups have people state what they do, over and over each meeting. If I’ve met you once, chances are I have an idea what it is you do. What I really want to know is what is the latest great thing you did for a client, what is the latest great client “Get” you made, what is the latest marketing strategy you are using that I could possibly try. Also, I want to know, as a business owner, what do you think of my business idea, my marketing idea, my strategy? These are the conversations I am interested in having. These are the conversations I think will yield better results for me and for all involved.

I’d like to start an informal group around this idea. I would also like to start the group with Female Hispanic Small Business Owners. The reason for this is simple familiarity. I am a part of an online community of female Hispanic bloggers and the generosity of spirit is tremendous. Additionally, if there is anything I can do, in even the most minuscule of ways, to help any Female Hispanic Small Business Owner would be great.

I’ll be holding the meetings in the morning hours, 8-9:30 am, in my office, twice a month.
