Hello all!! This group is dedicated to bringing women of all kinds together to embrace all sorts of adventures. The purpose is to embrace life and enjoy it with best friends. As a group, we arrange fun activities from weekend getaways to book clubs to holiday parties. We only have three rules: you’re not allowed to bring your significant others (unless we’re hosting a couples party ), you’re not allowed to NOT have fun and (for technical purposes…if you RSVP to 3 events and are a no show, membership is revoked) Kids are always welcome! As GIRLfriends, we book club together, we wedding together, we weekend getaway together, we movie together, we shop together, we lunch and dinner together, we baby shower together, we church together, we travel together, we BBQ together, we cook together, we volunteer together, we toy drive together, we birthday party together, but most of all we laugh together! An example of a few past and future events: We host a bi-monthly book club together (Oprah books with lots of wine) We organize a large Christmas toy drive and deliver toys to those in need (so much fun) We travel on girls getaways- we just recently went to Orlando and are planning a white water rafting trip to North Carolina in May 2013 We can screen a mean movie (most recently documentaries over dessert) We’ve gone to Woodbury Commons (most exciting on Black Friday!) The list can go on and on, but we’re really looking for a group of girls that are interested in forming a great circle of lifelong friends. Absolutely no requirements- you can be young, old, of absolutely any nationality (we don’t care if you’re white, black, purple, green or pink, just be nice!) of any creed, LGBT, single, married, with kids or without, large or small….we’re looking forward to you being our GIRLfriend!
