Movable Type 6: The Future of Online Publishing

Six Apart, the Tokyo-based online publishing software and services company, is ready to announce to the world the latest version of its flagship software, Movable Type.  It has chosen to do so in NYC as part of Social Media Week.

Six Apart is reaching out to the local Perl community to provide insight on how the new Movable Type 6 is a modern online publishing and social engagement application, equally suited for individuals and growing businesses of every size.

Movable Type 6 incorporates support for the following technologies, which will make Movable Type an even more powerful solution for online content publishing organizations:

- New APIs: Data API, Chart API, etc.

- Support for web gateways nginx and PSGI.

- Integration with Google Analytics API

- Loupe, a mobile app for monitoring site statistics and administrating your site.

Presenters will include a variety of Movable Type Engineers.
