I was competing well against B level players, last time I played regularly about 1 year ago, in North Carolina. I'm likely rusty, but sure I can get the feel back with some practice.
The more the better, but I'd love a steady 2 evenings per week to begin.
Manhattan. I live and work now on the Upper East Side.
Hi all. Dean here. I've played racquetball on and off for about 6 years now. I've had to relocate several times due to my work the last few years. I'm settled down in NYC now, and would like to play a few times per week.
I guess I can't help but also get on the West River Fitness bandwagon after my visit. First, it's the closest place near me to play racquetball. Had no problem getting a court with my friend for 7:00 pm this past Wed, after a quick call a few hours earlier. We stayed for over 2 hours, and enjoyed every minute. Rob A., the club's instructor was there, and gave us some excellent advice which we implemented in our games. Everything about the courts and racquetball area is optimal for the most enjoyable play. Surprising how low the walk in court fees are, considering the club's Manhattan location, and the high quality standard this facility maintains. So my bottom line is I was very impressed with West River Fitness, and intend to play much more there.
