Re: [racquetball-53] Racquetball pick-up game?

Hey, I'm interested in some new opponents too--I think I'm a B/B+ based on games against A's and C's.  West River is definitely closed-- I was a member and I got a call that the gym is being closed to non-residents (it's the top floor of an apartment building) and they are closing the courts.  I've looked into other options and Baruch is the cheapest but the courts are difficult to reserve, and the hours (especially closing at 8pm) makes it hard to get court time.  I also looked into the 92nd Street Y and the West Side YMCA and it seems like the West Side is a better shot because you can't reserve courts at the 92nd Street Y (and who wants to show up not knowing if they'll get a court, right?).

Anyway should we start a separate mailing list so these messages don't go to folks who don't want them?

Hi NYC racquetballers,

I'm a B/B+ player looking to play competitive singles games in Manhattan. I usually play at Baruch College on 24th & Lex - they have a few good courts. Feel free to reach out if you're interested in setting a game up. Ideally, we could play every week if we're around the same skill level.
