Summertime slowdown on Nathalie's roof garden

  • This location is shown only to members

Come join us for the 3rd of many rooftop garden meetups this summer.

Please join host and avid gardener Nathalie Bonnin for a relaxing friday night in the west village.

Her garden is the highlight - sunset views of the Hudson are a close second.

Nathalie's rooftop garden is chock full of inspiring items, including a significant fig tree, corkscrew willow tree (ask her about its origin), and loads of herbs and other interesting plants and edibles. The lavender is in full bloom everywhere and smells fantastic. Potpourri anyone?

As part of the meetup, we are also having a garden book and seed/ seedling exchange for anyone who would like to contribute. Old garden books for exchange welcome.

Nathalie is very generous and encourages taking cuttings and offered seeds from fresh scallions- "they look like magic wands".

Drinks and snacks always appreciated (maybe summer salads?). The space is small and the limit is 18 people. If you RSVP and are unable to attend please update your RSVP so that others can attend.

The group is also open to topics for discussion- don't be shy. Share what you know!

Lastly, anonymous donations to assist with the meetup group greatly appreciated (.50 cents- $1.00 max).

Join or login to comment.

Thanks everyone for coming. Was very happy to share my little piece of heaven. I think i was going to give some people cuttings (papyrus, herbs, willow), and then I got lost in the night...so just contact me if you still want some green things.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend, as Imade other plans. I am still very interested in plant/seed swaps, so any similarly inclined gardeners, please feel free to contact me.
