What kind of urban gardening are you practicing (note: any kind is OK)

We have a wooden deck in the East Village, a large flat platform covered in planters. Our plants tend to be trees, flowers, grasses, roses and peppers. The trees usually make it through the winter.

My goal in starting the group was to create an environment in which people could learn about growing plants in urban spaces. My wife is the gardener. An advertising copywriter by occupation, I have since learned how to carry dirt and repair roofs.

What Peter W. is saying about this Meetup Group

If you're interested in plants and creating your mini oasis in the city, I think our activities are getting better and better. You will invariably learn something. Maybe even a lot.
