Roofdeck and Roofgarders Meetup scheduled Saturday Mar.27 at Donnybrook, 12=3pm, East Village

I meant to send out a message correctly last night to all members of the New York Roofdeck and Roofgardening Meetup group, but apparently didn't manage it. The organizers changed the interface a little, but go to the page and you'll find all the details about our first get-together of 2010.

Briefly, we're trying a Saturday thing, which people have requested at times. Being spring and unpredictable in terms of weather, this one is taking place inside at a bar/restaurant: Donnybrook, at 35 Clinton Street, corner of Stanton. This is a great part of the East Village (OK, we live nearby) and the worst that can happen is that you can eat lunch or buy a drink and then visit a unique part of town.

At Donnybrook, they serve coffee, etc. and the food is quite good. Or you can stand at the bar. It's big.
You'll also meet other urban gardeners who will be thinking about spring planting.
We won't have any plants up yet, other than our small trees, but if the weather is good, afterwards the group can pay a visit to our roofdeck about 7 short blocks away. Note: 5 flights of stairs.

Googlemaps, etc. are at the Meetup site, and that's where you should RSVP. If more people come, I can expand the list; lot of new members joined over the winter.
In brief: Donnybrook, Saturday March 27, 12-3pm, 35 Clinton St. Near Delancey Street or 2nd Avenue stops on the F train. I'll be wearing a black hat.
