Hello gardeners on this lovely morning-

Last week we went to see the new Native Plant Garden at NYBG and also a short visit to Wave Hill. This is a wonderful time to see both. At NYBG, the Azaleas are in bloom, and the Rock Garden is gorgeous- many different varieties of succulents, sedums, surrounded by a number of huge flowering trees.
The perennial Garden is also just starting, but you can really see the bones of the garden this early in the season.

Wave Hill up in Riverdale, for those who have not been there, is a marvelous garden estate on the Hudson, peaceful and a plant fiend's paradise, as they have accumulated an enormous variety of very uncommon and beautiful plants. You can get there on Metronorth, just a 30 minute ride- take a picnic, very pastoral.

Have a great gardening weekend-
