Announcing a new meeting for The New York Skydiving Meetup Group!

What: May 31: Skydive Sussex with TJ!

When: Saturday, May 31, 7:30 AM

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Why: Skydive Sussex is located about 1-hour outside of the city. TJ and his +1 have room for up to 2 more members in their vehicle, and will leave from the Upper West Wide of NYC. Full details will be disclosed to those who RSVP Yes.

Meeting Description: No great plans this weekend and you don't feel like traveling all the way to Cross Keys? Why not join TJ at Skydive Sussex this weekend!
"After a short, but thorough briefing you will climb two miles above the New York and New Jersey skylines in a customized aircraft. You will exit the plane with a certified tandem instructor. He will guide you through the experience of a lifetime. Free falling at speeds up to 120 miles per hour, you will feel like you are flying for almost a minute. Then you will feel a gentle tug as the parachute opens, creating a hushed silence.
While you are enjoying the most magnificent view of the rolling countryside, your instructor will guide you through a hands on instruction in canopy control. The parachute ride lasts five to seven minutes.
Next comes the landing, surprisingly soft! Your instructor coaches you through the landing, and before your feet touch the ground, you'll be anticipating your next jump. Take a look at the video it's worth a thousand words."

Ok- so are you interested? Reserve your spot by calling Skydive Sussex and RSVP Yes here!

We will keep everyone updated on the weather - remember: skydiving depends on perfect weather and we have had to cancel / reschedule events if the weather didn't cooperate with our plans. A final decision will be made by Friday morning and an email will be sent to those who RSVPd Yes.
