Discussion of John Dos Passos's "1919"

"1919" is the second  volume of John Dos Passos's "U.S. A."  trilogy, a collective portrait of America in the first half of the 20th century.  The books  in the trilogy can be read independently, and we urge you to read "1919" even if you have not read the trilogy's first volume ( discussed Jan. 2 ) and join us for what you can be certain will be a very lively discussion.

The Wednesday Jan. 30 meeting is just to discuss the book. Most likely we will schedule a future New Yorker article discussion.
