Welcome Austin Therapists & Bodyworkers!

This is a group for massage therapists, yogi's, acupuncturists, reflexologists, and others professional bodywork practictioners.

Our goal is to create an active networking community of therapists/bodyworkers in order to:

-help to generate referrals between different bodywork specialists.
-fascilitate discussions on issues related to our fields/specialties.
-fascilitate discussions on marketing strategies and business ideas.
-Help to organize events to educate the public on massage therapy and other bodywork.
-Encourage bodyworkers to get more bodywork via trades with other practitioners.
-Help new practitioners to connect with those of us already in the field.
-To meet and enjoy the company of other therapists/bodyworkers.

I believe real networking can only happen when we meet face to face which is why I am organizing this group a little differently. My email inbox and mail box are full of advertising for classes, seminars, and CEU offerings which is why I want absolutely NO advertising/posting of Classes/seminars on the message board or email list. If you want to promote your CEU you must come to the meetings to do so. Meetings will be organized to include time for handing out flyers/CEU promotion at the end.

Instead of Dues I am going to have a suggested annual donation of $2-$5. This will cover meetup.com fees.
