Adelphi Chamber Orchestra- Romantic Masterpieces

The Adelphi Chamber Orchestra presents Romantic Masterpieces

The Adelphi Chamber Orchestra (ACO) continues its celebration of its 60th anniversary season with a concert titled Romantic Masterpieces conducted by Richard Owen Jr. Our featured soloist is cellist Kate Owen. She will be performing Elgar's cello concerto with the orchestra. Also included on the program is Wagner's Overture to the Opera The Flying Dutchman and Brahms’ Symphony # 1.
The Concert starts at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 26th at the Riverdell Regional High School located at 55 Pyle Avenue in Oradell, NJ.

Conductor Richard Owen Jr. said "I am very excited to be leading the Adelphi Chamber Orchestra again in a concert of Romantic Masterpieces. It's hard to imagine a selection of more beautiful composers than Brahms, Wagner, and Elgar. It is also VERY SPECIAL FOR ME to be working with my wife, Kate, who will be THE SOLOIST.”

Admission is free with a suggested tax-deductible donation of $20.
