Introduction

As an educator, I am a big fan of the world created by J.K. Rowling. I will be moving to San Clemente shortly and am looking forward to thought provoking discussions with those who share my interests.

How long have you been interested in HP?

I have been interested in Harry Potter since I read a friends copy of "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" that she received as a gift from a family friend in England. During the summer of 2004, I participated in a study abroad program in London, and of course I went to Charring Cross and stood at Platform 9 3/4...

Who is your favorite character? (Okay, this is a hard one, you can pick more than one.)

My favorite characters are Ron (he reminds me of me when I was younger), and (now don't get upset) Professor Snape (because I KNOW he isn't the bad guy everyone thinks he is.)
