Come get certified in Wilderness First Aid by master instructor Matt Rosefsky.
Go to SOLOWFA.com for more info, course details and to register. An RSVP thru meetup.com will NOT register you for this course(see pdf link below) -$180(advance registration online required) for the 2 day WFA Course; 830am-630pm both days 6/21 and 6/22(10 hours per day for 2 days) 100% "on-time" attendance is required for both days(10 hours each day) to receive potential certification(no exceptions); with the location training to be held at:
Chatham Borough Fire Department; One Fire House Plaza; Chatham, NJ 07928; Phone[masked]; (map link: http://goo.gl/maps/UamH4)
Do not park in the fire department lot. Instead, see the train station symbol on the map linked above, park in the NJ Transit Chatham Station parking lot (free on weekends);
walking directions: from Chatham train station, look for a grassy park with a white gazebo; the door to the fire station meeting room is across the park on the other side of the gazebo;
the $180 course fee(this course is not free) is refundable (1) if you did not request the book to be shipped in advance [in which case, course fee is not refundable in whole or part], AND (2) you cancel seven days or more in advance, AND (3) the instructor is able to find a replacement for your spot (dropping out affects the learning of other students –when it comes to scenarios, an absence causes an odd number of students, making for incomplete scenario learning experiences).
If you need to cancel less than a week in advance, notification as soon as possible will be most appreciated; the instructor will try to work with you and find a replacement, however most likely it will be too late.
If a charge card payment is refunded, $6 will be retained to cover the commission the charge card company ate fees.
Ones spot is NOT reserved unless payment is received and paid in advance; no exception to this rule!!
Also if one is expecting to receive certification for this Wilderness First Aid Certification Course; one needs to be both on time on both days; as well as attending both days from 830am to 630pm on both days; for both 6/21 and 6/22(10 hours each day); to receive potential certification(no exceptions)
please see above for any further clarifying details regarding the Community Wilderness First Aid Course Certification offering; regarding course location, course registration, course times; for any other needed course details please contact the course instructor Matt directly at 434-INJURED[masked]).
Upon completion of the 2 day course you will be certified for 2 years. Is your WFA certification expiring? Then come to this class and renew now.
We'll have fun and learn a lot at the same time. The course will have some indoor learning time but a lot of outdoor time as well.
Hope to see you there. Jason Henrich
