Lol! The paragraph below says it all. The only difference is I usually describe my approach to dancing as "I dance like I don't live around here!"
Do you, (Or would you.), like to dance, learn new dances, and have fun? Would you like to go out with good friends and have a good time playing, flirting a little, and acting like you don't care if anyone is watching. Do you want to learn to dance?
I want to learn to dance...I like it all
What joys do you get from dancing, and what fears do you have about taking dance lessons? If you already dance, where do you go dancing? Who are your favorite dance teachers? Where do you find fun people to dance with?
I have recently moved to the area after living the last 20 years in Richmond, Va. I don't have answers locally to any of these questions yet.
What dances and or figures would you like to learn? (Waltz, Foxtrot, Rumba/Bolero, Cha, Swing, Tango, Mambo.) Are you willing to share what you know with the group? Would you consider teaching a free lesson or two?
Not at this time. I am learning myself. But would not mind sharing once I know what I am doing.
Can you suggest a place where we might have free access to a Community Room or some place where we might hold a free dance, or free dance lesson? (I can provide the music.) We would teach each other whatever each of us knows.
Not at the moment. I am new to the Baltimore community
Tell us a little something about yourself. Where are you from. What are your hobbies. Has something interesting happened to you recently? Who were the first dancers you remember seeing on TV? Have you been to any exotic places? What makes you smile?
I am a native of Baltimore. I like sports, movies, dance, music, travel, and wine. the first dancers I saw on tv were the solid gold dancers and the dancers on soul train! my kids make me smile!
