Our friends at the Clear-Ridge Historical Society are pleased to announce their next program. Join them for "The Lincoln Highway:The Main Street Across America" on Saturday May 24th at 2:00 PM at the Clearing Library, 6423 West 63rd Place.

Discover the fascinating history of the Lincoln Highway. Kay Shelton, President of the Lincoln Highway Association, will lead a presentation on the world's largest memorial to President Abraham Lincoln. The Lincoln Highway was the first improved road coast-to-coast in the United States. Find out about the legendary visionaries behind the road's establishment. The Lincoln Highway's story is part of all American history, although not always apparent.
