Sand Art, Shallow Water Play, Sunset

Let's meet at Haleiwa Beach at the end of July 4th weekend. There are several options for this, so it won't be as much of a structured event.
-Sand Art: This is laying in the sand and making sand dresses, or building sand castles and playing, or writing a message to a friend in the sand...lots of fun ideas here.
-Water: The water at Haleiwa Beach is only about 4 1/2 feet deep for quite a distance into the ocean. Additionally, over near the turtles' nesting area is a shallow area that is fairly protected from the ocean. This might be fun if you want to do bikinis or sitting on floaties or...whatever.
-Sunset: no comments needed! Can get models in the sunset, or the photographers can just get some landscape shots.

Arrived at Haleiwa Alii Beach Park around 4:45pm... as the park is very large...I could not find anyone from the meetup group.
Maybe next time, some of the people attending could provide their phone numbers...so, when I arrive...I can call...to find out where everyone is...

I think the worshams were the only ones who ended up going, and they left before you arrived. We'll have to catch you on the next one!

So the waves are very flat and we didn't really see anything that we wanted to shoot so we're going to head out

I'm backing out of this meetup too. Cousin, we normally try to meet in the parking lot or somewhere visible from the parking lot. If you have the iPhone or Android app, you can look at the comments and see if people have checked in once they are on-site. But for this meetup, there may not be enough people going.

If others are still going to this meetup, they should sound off now.

The Haleiwa Alii Beach Park is a big park. Where in the park is the meeting point?

I'm not going to be able to make it out tomorrow, but there are enough people heading out that I'll leave the event up. It may be more of a landscape event (unless you can bribe Melissa to model again! I've heard she likes cookies haha). You guys enjoy!

The meetup is at Haleiwa Beach park. The Red Piano is just a bucket list idea. We will stick with the plan as outlined above.

Realize its the 4th of July weekend but I don't want to miss a chance at seeing theNorth Shore again. Hope others feel the same.

Kyle, looks like this might just be the two of us. Is there anything else you want to shoot?

Hmmm, I think I remember a conversation a while ago about the red piano on the North Shore. I've never been there, but I think you mentioned that you have. Want to try that spot?

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
