Are you interested in giving back to the community? Are you interested in training your own therapy dog or service dog? If you want to have a service dog and you do not have $10,000 to purchase a fully trained dog from one of the large providers, then this class is for you. If you have a disability a therapy or service dog can help you lead a functional and exciting life.
If you want to train your dog to be a therapy dog then this class is for you. Meet others who are considering or currently training their own service dog to help with a disabling physical or psychological condition.
Share training tips, support, and learn more about the laws and regulations impacting public access for service dogs. This group recognizes that not all disabilities are visible and further acknowledges a wide variety of breeds capable of functioning as service and/or therapy dogs.
