The Apache Creek Trail FR95B thru FR95A

Apache Creek trail or FR95B and FR95A
Come out and scratch it or stay home and wax it.
The trail starts just north of Camp Wood in the Prescott National Forest on the west side.
The trail would probably be rated at a 2.5 stock jeeps will be ok but off road tires are recommend. This trail is tight, it’s a jeep trail and it is not traveled very often so there will be some brush. Some you will be able to navigate around and some you will not. So expect AZ pin stripping.
It’s high country and pine tree covered. We will be traveling next to the Apache Creek Wilderness area and will cross the Apache Creek several times. Beautiful country.

I have prerun pics and will try to get them posted along with a map.

Hello all! I am new to the No Club Club and have not been on any of the runs yet. Couple quick newbie questions. How early should I be there? How long does this run usually take? Anything special I need to bring?

Hi Chris, Meet at the Old Stage Stop parking lot on Outer Loop road @ 9am. After everybody arrives we will have a short drivers meeting and head out. Air down will be shortly after we get on to Camp wood road. Bring lunch, water, drinks, chair if you like. We should be back on the pavement by mid to late afternoon.

Personally I like the 1 to 5 scale. For more information click on the pages tab above and you will get more information on the 1 to 5 trail rating scale.

Yep, scratch it. My XJ proudly displays a lot of AZ pin-striping.

I first did these two 16 years ago. In the winter. Snow and ice.
In my full size GMC Sierra Z71. From the north. I went down some
descents I couldn't have "returned". It was not clear how to get
out to Camp Wood. I did some "non-trail" guessing, and made it.

My one year old trailer tow-truck got a LOT of AZ pinstriping.
I told my then "brother-in-law" PNF ranger about it.
He said, you "dip-sh-t", those are 50 inch wide ATV trails. {:^)
I was just happy to make it home in time for supper.

This is a fun trip. Sometime you should hike up Mt. Hyde also.
Highest point in Yavapai County. With a "discarded" fire lookout.

We tend to just off road during the day trips. But there are people in the group that do hunt and shoot.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
