Charlotte Chamber - Belk Center (map)
My name is Corey Creed. As one of the co-organizers of this Charlotte SEO Meetup, I'm thrilled that Keith gave me the opportunity to talk about this subject.
Like many of you, I work almost exclusively on the Internet. More specifically, I have been doing Internet marketing for clients and for my own business since 2003. In fact, I started working with computers long before I graduated in 1988.
But in January 2008 (exactly two years ago), I had a startling realization. I was wasting too much time online. (And that was BEFORE Twitter!) So I started reading books like "Getting Things Done" and "Four Hour Workweek". They helped - some. But there were things I didn't like about them. So I made adjustments and improved upon them.
So for 2 whole years now, I've been trying everything and learning how to get the most done in the least time. I have a process. I have dozens of tips. I have online tools. I'll even show you how I setup my work area. All of it makes me more efficient.
NOTE: I'm not a robot. I'm not crazy. I just don't want to spend all my time at work. I now work less than 40 hours per week and have time for my family, hobbies, and volunteer work, which I enjoy, while running a profitable online business.
If you want to spend all your time online, no problem. Good for you. But even if you do, I recommend you listen to what I'm going to say because you can be more efficient and make more money by just using a FEW of these tips.
Please think seriously about attending this meetup. I've been gathering all this information and taking notes for 2 years and am very excited to share it. I personally guarantee that if you just use a couple of these tips or methods, you will have more time for whatever you want to do.
I hope to see you on March 4. Please mark your calendar.

Agreed. There was a lot I did not like about that particular book. But there were some good principles that I use in my method.
Corey, I am excited to learn about this book and your new method! We all have much more to do in less time!!!
Thanks Chris. I'm really glad to hear you're gonna make it.
I always learn a lot from Corey. I am looking forward to the meeting.
Thanks Lea. You're too kind. I've always been impressed with how much you were able to do with the training you attended a couple years ago. I think you're going to like this presentation. I'm working very hard on it.
Hey guys, I thought I would post where the free parking in downtown is located: Free Parking is at 410 South Mint Street, Charlotte, NC http://bit.ly/122XEx
This link gives a better picture of the spot even though it says 408. Click on the street view, then click the right arrow to make the picture go to the right. This is what Charlotte Chamber looks like from ground level http://twitpic.com/gb4te
Parking space is right next door to Residence Inn
For those that can't make it, the stream will be live on semclt.com tomorrow.
I get done at work at 7pm. I might watch live if since I don't want to miss an hour (driving from lake norman)
can't make it, work calls. Can't wait to watch on-line 2morrow.
A big thank you to everyone who attended including those who watched on the live-stream. I had a great time presenting this new topic and met some very interesting newcomers after.
Thanks also to Keith for letting me present.
This meetup was excellent for those who are entreprenurs and employees or those who are entrepreneurs. I enjoy attending these meetups for they are educational.

Less than 40 hours sounds great! Four hour work week was a little cheezy, but one can dream!!! (That and it sells books! )
