OSIOT Meetup #10: An Open Stack for IoT and other discussion

Welcome to OSIOT Meetup #10.

Michael Koster will show how an Open Stack approach can be used to create an IoT platform from existing software components. A macro Model-View-Controller pattern provides architectural framework. IoT Toolkit is combined with Node-RED and the Mosquitto MQTT broker to enable distributed event-graph programming of IoT applications.

Please bring your project or ideas to share and discuss also. There will be plenty of time for open discussion and demos.

Please feel free to contact the organizers with any ideas or questions.

6:30 - 6:45 Introductions
6:45 - 7:15 An Open Stack Platform for IoT
7:15 - 7:30 Open IoT Stack Q&A
7:30 - 9:00 Open discussion and free demo

Thanks everyone for coming out last night! Sorry I was late; there was a huge gridlock and my usual 9 minute drive took over an hour.

Thanks also for a good year of community support. The OSIOT meetup group is over 580 members now worldwide.

The slides from last night's talk are at:
