Long Beach Museum of Art Yappy Hour

Hello Boston Terrier Lovers!

We have been asked to add this event to our calender.  Sounds like another good opportunity for those who are not so into the dog parks to meetup!

This is Amanda from Pussy & Pooch in downtown Long Beach. I have an amazing event to share with you and your group members.

We are excited to be involved with the current exhibit at Long Beach Museum of Art: Architecture For Dogs (Jun 21 – Sept 1). Pussy & Pooch has a pop-up shop in the museum's gift shop full of gorgeous and unique items from local pet vendors.

To celebrate the exhibit and our wonderful pets, we are also hosting a weekly Yappy Hour event at the museum, Thursdays from 5-8pm during July and August. Dogs and their humans can attend the exhibit for free and Pussy & Pooch will be providing a different buffet of doggie goodies each week. The museum has a wonderful lawn overlooking the water, along with a restaurant serving happy hour food/drinks.

I would love for the OC Boston Terrier club to organize a meet-up event at one or more of our Yappy Hours. It’s a beautiful venue and would make for a fun summer event. Here are the available dates: July 11, 18, 25 and Aug 1, 15. Please let me know if you’d like to reserve a date and have your group attend.

Please note that the events are open to the public so your group would be sharing the space with other dogs. Also, the venue is not built for off-leash, so dogs must be accompanied on leash for their safety. We will have dog valet available in case anyone needs a break!
