This course is for beginner, intermediate and advanced students who want to acquire or refine their Italian language proficiency.
The classes will focus on conversation, comprehension, vocabulary and basic grammar including geography, people, and culture of Italy.
The course is very important to tourists, businessmen and those simply interested in learning another language.
The course is composed of 8 one hour weekly classes.
PROGRAM OF THE COURSE
First lesson: Arriving at an Italian Airport.
Second lesson: At the hotel.
Third lesson: Visiting the city.
Fourth lesson: At the restaurant.
Fifth lesson: At the store.
Sixth lesson: Train station.
Seventh lesson: Geography.
Eighth lesson: Enjoyment and Culture.
Piernicola Cocchiaro was born in province of Ascoli Piceno, Italy, in 1949.
He is an Italian Architect, Fine Art Painter and retired Teacher, moved to California from Italy in 2008.
He lives in Orange County, but continues to have professional connection with his Italy, where he returns for two or three months a year.
As an Architect, he has over 36 years of professional experience ranging from urban planning to interior design.
As a Painter, he has an artistic experience of 40 years, during which he participated in numerous art exhibitions in Italy and California.
As a teacher Piernicola taught Live Hand Drawing and Visual Education for 37 years in Italian Art High Schools, where in addition he also taught Italian Art History for some years.
Now, here in Orange County, he teaches Italian in a private school, where, in addition, he teaches for students with intermediate and advanced knowledge of Italian language, "Italian Art History" and "The secrets of Italian Cuisine".
