Meet up at Starbuck's at 10:30 AM. This will give those who want to, the opportunity to grab some photos of the parade forming up on the Laurier Bridge before the official start at 11:00 AM. It will also give you an opportunity to meet other members of our Meetup before everyone goes their separate ways. After this, everyone is free to make there way anywhere along the parade route where you think you may have the best vantage point!
Please feel free to come say hello and introduce yourself :-) Some of you I know but many of you I don't! I will be at the Starbuck's until 10:50 to greet people at which time I will most likely make my way up to the Wellington and Bank area. If we have a small group, I will track attendance on site. If it's a large group, please upload at least one photo after the event so that I can ensure you receive credit for attending :-) I will have my iPhone with me so if you have a change of plans, please update your RSVP prior to the start up time. That way we won't be waiting for people unnecessarily. I don't want to abandon anyone o.O
Parking: There is free underground parking on the weekend at the World Exchange Plaza which is only a few blocks away at 111 Albert St. Not sure about road closures though so just a heads up!

31st St. Patrick’s Parade
Due to the redevelopment of Lansdowne Park, we have had to change the Parade route and the venue for the Parade Party.
Parade: While the Parade will no longer be on Bank St., it will continue to form up on the Laurier Avenue Bridge, between 8:00 – 11:00 AM.
The Parade will leave the intersection of Laurier Avenue West and Elgin St at 11:00 AM, and proceed west on Laurier Avenue West, turn right on Bank St., then left on Wellington St., and continue west on Wellington St. to an area near the Library and Archives Canada building, arriving there at approximately 12:00 – 12:30.
(If you are familiar with this year’s “Help Santa Toy Parade”, you’ll note that we are using the same route – but in reverse.)
At this point, the Parade will turn left, at the Garden of the Provinces, and proceed southwest onto (old) Wellington St, to an area bounded by Albert, Brickhill, and Commissioner Sts, to disassemble.
