WOW is growing and The East Bay is huge! We're already in Berkely/Oakland/Alameda but want to expand into your neighborhood.
As coach and founder of WOW, my goal is to promote lifetime fitness for all adult women, using the outdoors as our venue and walking or running (or a combination of both) as the method of movement.
Please join me on June 25 in walnut Creek for an orientation meeting highlighting the upcoming WOW fall season. Starting in August I want all women to train for the CIM Marathon or 6 mile, 4 person relay in December.
Speed is secondary in our training! We accommodate many levels and encourage everyone to participate. Our expectation is that all w omen who join us will move for a minimum of 30 minutes. For some, this is their distance/time limit. Others are out on the course for 60 minutes, up to 20 miles. Some run, many walk/run, some walk. All are welcome!
WOW believes that all women can set fitness goals and reach them. As a coach, I believe that any of you who start training with us soon will be able to complete, and have a great experience with a 6 mile group relay or a 26.2 mile individual marathon challenge on December 6.
Please come to one of our three orientation meetings throughout the Bay Area to learn more about how you can complete a first race or improve on prior experience.
I want to meet you and go over the details. You should be a member of WOW - Fit Women of the World. Now's the time!
To Fitness!
Stephanie
