Come celebrate our 1st Birthday in style at our first annual BBQ picnic at Spanish River Park in Boca Raton!

It's hard to believe that we have finished our first year--time flies when you're having fun! Lets get together and have some good fun, laughs, and food! And of course, no great picnic is complete without some good beach volleyball!! Our pavilion is conveniently located closest to the nearest volleyball court and....restrooms of course! :)

What do I bring?
This will be a pot-luck BBQ, so bring your specialty! Reply back to what items you will be bringing so we have a good idea of who's bringing what. I of course, will be bringing my infamous Mojo/Rosemarry chicken to throw on the barbie.

Who do I bring?
Bring yourself! Bring a friend! Bring your family or even your hunny! Everyone is welcome!

How can I find you?
We will be located at Pavilion #4.
From the NORTH: 2nd park Entrance on your right heading south from NE Spanish River Blvd(40th St) on N Ocean Blvd, then Vear to the left once inside the park
From the SOUTH: 2nd park Entrance on your left heading north from Palmetto Park Rd. Approx. 2.5 miles north of Palmetto Park Rd on N Ocean Blvd, then Vear to the left once inside the park. Please note: Parking is $18 per car.

Are dogs allowed?
Unfortunately, no.

Are alcoholic beverages allowed?
Mmmm, no. So please be discreet if you choose to partake. I of course, will not be looking to make sure we are all in compliance.

Any further questions, please feel free to ask or if you have any fun party ideas, do share!

Fun is sure to be had . . . See you there!

Many thanks to those who have posted what they will be bringing to the picnic. This is a group effort and our collective effort is what will make this picnic successful. I see that we are still missing the following: plates, utensils, napkins, beverages (water, pop, whatever your posion is and note I am bringing large plastic cups so you can look dscreet also=) Any volunteers? Joe, you bringing your iPhone speakers for music?

Yes, Eric had suggested that too..on Spanish River and Federal. So all those who wish to carpool can meet at Walgreens around 12:30-12:45 and each car load can split the parking fee.

    All,

I know $18 is a lot for parking so we will try to meet at a local place where we can carpool. I know there are public parking down Spanish River, just minutes from the park. We can settle on a place and time for people to meet .

Recently found out that parking is $18 per car at Spanish River Park!! We are looking for an alternate location for this event. Anchor Park in Delray Beach was suggested, but if you have a better suggestion, please post a comment or email one of the organizers. Sorry for any inconveniences this may have caused. No dogs are allowed at Spanish River, but if we switch to Anchor Park, I'm bringing Chewy and Trixie! =)
