We are looking for all Mountain Bike Riders who want some off road action close to home in the South Bay. Whether you are an enthusiast or want to be, this ride is tailored to the experience of those who come each week.

We hope to grow this group for the purpose of enjoying the company of others who love mountain biking, and potentially building a community of like minded folks who could enjoy other adventures together.

The ride is led by PV Bicycle Center Service Manager Shawn Charlton. He is looking for co-leaders and others who might want to lead rides on other days at other times.  The goal is to build up the Mountain Biking community in the South Bay, including every city and village from Long Beach to Manhattan Beach.

As the group chooses, we may decide to hold breakfasts, brunches, bbq's, or other social functions at PV Bicycle Center or other locations to be determined.

As the group builds, we may want to plan group rides to other Southern California destinations for more rigorous climbs and downhills. The possibilities are endless. We might even be able to set up longer tours and trips to exotic locations. Come join us and help us plot and plan for sky's-the-limit off road fun.

Currently the ride starts from Del Cerro Park at the very top of Crenshaw Boulevard in Palos Verdes and lasts about 1 1/2 hours.

Shawn will usually has some discount service coupons for PV Bicycle Center that he gives out to anyone who shows up.
