This is our regular weekly meeting. Feel free to bring a piece of writing to share with the group to get critical feedback to help improve your writing. If you wish, you can participate and offer feedback to others without bringing in anything of your own. Doors open at 5:00 pm and the meeting officially commences at 5:30 pm.
Attention writers! If you're interested in sharing your ideas, workshopping your projects, learning about the craft of writing, or just socializing with creative people, the Panhandle Writer's Group is for you. We meet every Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in Milton and welcome everyone who is interested in any form of writing. We have among our members novelists, short story authors, playwrights, screenwriters, poets, bloggers, and non-fiction writers. However, beginning writers are invited to join us as well. Members are encouraged to bring examples of what they are currently working on to share and receive critical feedback, which helps all of us learn and grow. All genres and formats are welcome.
To become an official member of the Panhandle Writer's Group, an application and $30.00 annual fee is requested. Please see Sally Melvin for more information. We meet at Milton Community Center, 5629 Byrom Street, Milton, FL 32570.
