Constructive Communication:Keys to empower expression, listening and connections

** This workshop is open to the general public but parents are warmly welcome and called to bring their parent-child communication and connection challenges **

This experiential workshop aims to support you in:

- increasing your ability to listen clearly and openly, and speak authentically and confidently
- discerning what is the underlying message behind the surface of stories, judgments, opinions, etc…
- strengthening your capacity to hear hard-to-hear messages
- owning your feelings and needs while witnessing with care those of others
- making doable, powerful requests increasing your chance at co-operation
- creating a quality and depth of connection in your relationships

We will explore these aspects of collaborative communication in a facilitated, interactive format, using real-life situations and events that you can bring.

Bring a Scenario with You

To help learning go faster and make a more engaging workshop, we organize this as an interaction-driven workshop. We use events, scenarios, anticipated conversations that the participants bring with them (and are willing to play out in front of the group).

To Register:

This series will be held in Dupont Circle, NW, DC. Exact address to be announced.

Cost: $25-$75 to what is joyful to you.

We encourage you to pay-what-you-can to register for the workshop and – at the end of the workshop – reflect on the value it brought you and if you might want to contribute more out of joy. This approach helps us connect to our hearts in being a flow of offers.

No one turned away for lack of fund. We value gift and barter economies, please email [masked].
