This is our current press release, though it may get edited by Robert Alexander.
Fellow Citizens of the 3rd Congressional District of Virginia, My name is James Quigley and I am officially announcing my campaign for Congress as a Libertarian against the incumbent, Bobby Scott (Democrat), of the 3rd District of Virginia. Over the course of the last few years our country has become less of a Free Market Democratic Republic and more akin to a Corporatist Oligarchy while the wealth of the poor and middle classes have been transferred to the few and powerful. Although Mr. Scott has spoken publicly against such interests, his actions and legislation has done little to stop this transfer of wealth to the "too big to fails", and in many ways has instead accelerated their growth in power. Virginians need someone willing to put a stop to the merger of government and the "too big to fails", and I will take up that mantle.
