The FLAT FORTY is a flat terrain ride. I cannot consider this a beginner ride due to the mileage (40 miles). It is a good ride for anyone who has not bicycle 40 consecutive miles yet this year.

The plan is to meet at the Tukwila Park and Ride, bicycle south on the Green and Interurban Trails into the Algona-Pacific industrial area.  We cannot take the entire Green River Trail as part of it is closed and there is a detour.

This is an out and back ride.

At 25 miles we should be headed back through Auburn which gives us a great opportunity to stop for coffee and a pastry.

This is not a technical ride, but does involve crossing some railroad tracks and a few streets with crossing lights.

Al you and Scott are great to ride with and as challenging of a ride as this was, I am really looking forward to the next.
