Makeup and Shoot
A new series of events for the PGPG will highlight the skills of our area makeup artists. In the months ahead, area MUA’s will be asked to lead an event where THEY will be crafting the looks needed for their portfolios. There have been some very exceptional makeup artists at our events in the past, but they have often been asked to meet a pre-assigned theme. For this series of events, the MUA will be the creative director, tweaking the models as they deem fit to grow the portfolios of all involved. Kicking off the first of this series will be Mad Makeup and Hair, with Diane Tatar (http://www.modelmayhem.com/2485258, https://www.facebook.com/MadMakeupAndHair?ref=tn_tnmn) in the lead. Diane has been a staple contributor to past events, and now she will be picking and choosing which looks to be photographed. Diane will have a hair stylist working with her to help craft a unique look for each model.
Returning to the ever comfortable Seraphim Imaging Studios in Pottstown, a select group of models will be on hand to be the ‘canvases for Diane’s makeup skills. Models will be scheduled in time slots, and photographers will have two stations at once to use, rotating through the stations until everyone has had a chance to work with each model. Refreshments will be provided, as well as a few give away items for the attending photographers. Any props you wish to bring are fine.

Makeup artists in the group that are interested in being the focus of a future workshop should email for scheduling and details. Models that are confirmed for this event will be sent further information. Photographer slots are limited, as this is a small but most excellent studio.
