Fashion Sunrise

Fashion Sunrise

The PGPG presents for its November meet-up a special challenge: cold weather fashion with a morning sunrise as your light source. Braving the early morning hours with camera in hand, attending members will meet at the Rittenhouse Town Historic District site located directly along Lincoln Drive ( http://www.rittenhous... ). The theme is of course colder weather fashion, with participants using a long trail of sites to craft their morning images. Photographers are encouraged to be mobile with any gear while still staying warm. Models will be bringing a variety of colder weather fashions, with our goal being to create some catalog-level samples of cold weather apparel. Our attending models are especially motivated, as they will be meeting us early to launch the event. Sunrise is technically 6:59AM at this time of year, but with some of us needing our caffeine to get started, our official start time is 6:30AM. We will have coffee on hand for attending members who have RSVP’ed, along with water and snacks for that much needed energy. A portable changing station will be on hand for the models to use. Please browse the Rittenhouse Town website for more information on their location. Our group will assemble at the parking spot located directly along Lincoln Drive, and will venture on foot via the tourist path. We may have a few joggers or cyclists to share the path with, but this time of day should have minimal traffic for the area. Attending models and contributing artists will be listed as they are booked. Please contact Joe or Albert with any questions or concerns you may have. Inclement weather is the only real deterrent, and members will be notified by text if the event is affected by rain, snow, hail, UFO’s, rabid squirrels, or other instances of peculiarity. For a 6:30am shoot, the number of attendees was just spectacular. Absolutely amazing dedication. Despite the cold, we had a 1:1 ratio of models to photographers, which may be unheard of anywhere else. I saw so many interesting shoots taking place as I walked up and down the path, and was reminded each time about why this group is just wonderful.
