To address the rapidly rising costs of healthcare, Penn Dental Medicine's Henry Daniell has developed a new technology that relies on plant cells to produce and deliver human therapeutic proteins to treat infectious and inherited diseases.

Penn Arts & Humanities hosts this months LightbulbCafe. In this talk, Daniell will explain how his concept eliminates the need for the expensive purification, cold storage, and sterile injections, and is quickly advancing to the stage of clinical application.

Henry Daniell is Professor of Biochemistry and Pathology, Penn Dental Medicine

Scenes from today's talk on new vaccine technology posted. Uses plants to produce the required proteins that can be ingested orally. Very very surprising findings. Scary but promising.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
