The Philadelphia Filmmaking Collective is a group for anyone, at any stage of their career, looking to make or help make movies. If you work, or want to work in movies, this is the group for you. Members can use this group for networking, educational resources, and as a way to find interesting film related events.

Meetup events for this group have a specific educational or industry related focus. Past meetups have included screenplay pitch competitions, audition opportunities for actors, and networking events with other local film groups. Plans are currently underway to host regular workshops and seminars on various topics including screenwriting, directing, auditioning skills for actors, and other specialized training. All events are free or nearly free.
