I'm always interested in meaningful conversation. I work with smart people, but I'd like to socialize with them too.
Interesting group of people - intelligent, diverse, outspoken. I'm looking forward to future meetings.
Hey Kim - neophytes are welcomed and you will be reading by the end of the night - many have come - many have conquered! It's a lot of fun too! Bring your cards to the Throwdown and you'll fall in love with them all over again.
There's even more meaning than appears on the surface to that spontaneous railroad track pic... See, when I took that picture and posted it-my mom's best friend from when I was a kid sent me a pic of my mother doing the exact same thing at the same age. This apple didn't fall too far, that's for sure! :)
Hi Kim! Gosh, I hope you're able to pull out those cards and see what they're all about. Learning the symbols seems like a great way to start - maybe if you join in the discussion a little, once you pull the cards out, they'll seem more familiar to you and it will be a whole new experience.
I look forward to meeting you and sharing with you and vice versa.
I wanted to thank-you for all the research you did on venues for the Philosophy Cafe.
Welcome to the group Kim!
