Filmmaker Fusion - Making Great Indie Horror Films

Coming March 20th! What is Filmmaker Fusion? Filmmaker networking with a purpose! Making professional contacts, referring and recommending fellow filmmakers, meeting new people and learning about a hot topic from a panel of industry professionals. The third Wednesday of the month, most months.

March 20, 2013 is the next in the monthly series called Filmmaker Fusion, hosted by 2012 Arizona Filmmaker of the Year Diane M. Dresback. March’s meeting will feature the topic “Making Great Indie Horror Films” and will feature local experts discussing things such as why horror can work, dealing with special effects and the importance of editing. Come find out answers to important questions such as,

“Why do horror films have such a following?”

“Is it better to go with a big name or no-name actor?”

“How do I find funding for a great horror idea?”

Bring your questions and talk to our panelists! AND…bring your business cards for networking with others in the local filmmaking industry and a door prize.

March Panelists
  • Andrea Beesley - International Horror and Sci Fi Film Festival
  • Brian Pulido – Mischief Maker Studios
  • Roze - Gas Mask Films
  • Sean Tretta - Ominous Productions
  • Tiffany Shepis - Actor
  • Tim Richards – Toriadore Films (SFX makeup)

This is a free event, open to anyone interested in filmmaking.
