Thanks for this resource Kristen.
I will definitely be posting some things as I finish the edit on the Doc series I am working on.
30 Hours of interviews shot so far and working out AE projects for flashy presentation.
All right here in AZ.

Love this.
We should all support it and get involved.

Hi John-

Thanks so much! I have no problems with snippets, to be sure. Tide and boats, right? I'm just trying to help the community. Love your paper.ly! :)

I will definitely be adding more posts as we go along. Right now, the resources are, by necessity, organized in pages. But I'm hoping to get guest bloggers and articles posted, and I'll also post updates as I add more information.

Hi Carrie-

I think Robert was referring to an RSS feed for my site (and inviting others). He has a e-paper that collects information from local film websites and gives everyone some bite-sized info to make things easier to share. It's pretty sweet. :)

Hi Robert-

It's always nice to welcome people to our community. I think you will find that most people here are passionate about it, as well as helpful and kind. :)

A lot of folks here are really busy with their own projects or helping out people who are pretty well established, so it might be difficult to find someone to take the reigns on a large project (which can get really complicated) without compensation. Of course, I certainly can't and don't speak for everyone. But just a heads up there that it might be hard, but don't let it discourage you or cause you to think poorly of the local community.

There are a lot of local Facebook groups and networking sites, etc., like this one, so those are great to reach out on. (Not to annoyingly pimp out my site, but I do have a fairly comprehensive list on AZ TV/Film you could look at.) You could try Craigslist; a lot of students (and there are some talented ones!) would probably give it a go and often have access to a lot of equipment, but there are sometimes legal restrictions in regards to shooting projects that are for profit.

I hope this helps, at least some.

Thanks everyone!

Best wishes,
Kristen
