Pacific Pug Rescue Hosts Fifth Annual Valentine’s Fundraiser “Pugentines”!
Portland, OR, February 8, 2014: The Pacific Pug Rescue, a 501(c)3 non-profit, volunteer based organization that operates solely on donations, is hosting its Fifth Annual Valentine’s themed fundraiser “Pugentines”. The event will be hosted at the fabulous, pug-friendly, Splendorporium in SE Portland from 6-9 p.m. on Saturday, February 8th. The night will feature a Valentine's themed pug fashion show/costume contest, a play area for the pugs, a kissing booth, appetizers, beverages and plenty of sweet treats. Make sure to bring your pennies to help fill the “pennies for pugs” jars! There will be a silent auction, as well as a raffle drawing for a Meile S7260 Dog and Cat Upright Vacuum Cleaner! (Retail Value $649). Tickets for the raffle may be purchased for $20 each at www.pacificpugrescue.org or at time of event.
The costume contest will be emceed by Portland’s own Starla Knight-Divine and will feature guest pug judges Scoutie, Hugo the Portland Pug, & Chloe (Boodapug). Adoptable PPR Pugs will be in attendance to meet and greet their adoring public. All proceeds from this event will be used to provide medical care and assistance to our rescued pugs.
Entry Fee: $5 donation at the door.
