Let's camp at the mouth of the Deschutes River where it enters the Columbia.

This is the best time to visit the mouth of the Deschutes. The grass will be green and the flowers in bloom. Also, it won't be hot. There are opportunities to hike and Mt bike. The Deschutes River State Recreation Area is based on an old railroad bed. As such it is nearly flat.

I will absolutely join the group for this event in the future when my work schedule changes. Especially if I know in advance by a couple weeks. I hope you'll plan this one again.
